The Enlightened Buddha The White Room Meditation
Sit quietly and calm the mind.
If
you like, begin with a mantra, Om mane Padme Hum , Om, or your
preferred mantra. After a short time of relaxation, sit upright in a
straight backed chair, with your hands face down on the knees, head
tilted slightly up. Close the eyes and focus the attention on the
breath, thinking the word ma on the inhale, and the word Om on the
exhale. Continue the breathing pattern until you feel relaxed and
balanced.
Envision, imagine, a beautiful and healing Divine White
Light surrounding you and filling you. In your minds eye, visualize
yourself facing a Sacred Inner Temple and as you walk forward, open
the doors, and enter the room of White Light, Divine White light of
Love and healing peace.
You now sit in the White Light within the
White Room. Sit in this space as the Divine Light of Love and Peace
bathes you, washes over you, and fills you.
Watch and listen to
the breath-If the mind wanders gently bring it back to the breathing –
In the white room there is no judgement, no thought. No emotions –In
the white room there is No Mind, no thought, no judgement, no anger
pain or fear- Just be still in mind and body- without past
recollections , no concerns or apprehensions about the future. Be still
in the PRESENT and know that you are a DIVINE being. When thoughts come
and feelings rise acknowledge them and calmly and detach from them and
move back into the White light of the White Room. You have become the
watcher of yourself-
just be still in calm undisturbed peace-
Sit in this sacred space for as long as you wish.
When
you feel ready, give thanks for Divine presence and Love . Leave the
White Room and see yourself closing the doors and bring yourself back
into everyday consciousness, knowing that this Light, Love and peace
will remain with you.
